Cinergie Digital is hiring a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL to design, develop, and support high-performance database solutions for mission-critical enterprise applications. The role covers the full database development lifecycle — schema and data-model design, stored-procedure development, performance tuning, and production troubleshooting — working closely with application development and architecture teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.

• Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database objects, functions, stored procedures, and queries.

• Design and implement efficient database schemas and data models aligned with application needs.

• Analyse and optimise SQL performance; carry out query tuning and workload optimisation.

• Support data migration, transformation, and integration initiatives across environments.

• Troubleshoot database issues in production and lead root-cause analysis (RCA) to resolution.

• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with database standards; maintain documentation and participate in design reviews.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL development.

• Solid experience developing on PostgreSQL, including functions and stored procedures.

• Query optimisation, performance tuning, and SQL performance analysis.

• Database design and data modelling for enterprise-scale applications.

• Database troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in production environments.

• Version control and DevOps tooling: Git and Azure DevOps.

Candidate Profile

• 5–8 years of experience in database development, optimisation, and support.

• Proven track record delivering and supporting database solutions for mission-critical enterprise systems.

• Comfortable collaborating with application developers, architects, and cross-functional teams.
