The Role

We're looking for a Senior Solution Architect to design and oversee end-to-end solutions for our enterprise and government projects. You'll work closely with delivery teams, presales, and clients. You'll turn business requirements into scalable, secure, maintainable architectures, and you'll stay involved from the tender response through go-live.

Key Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for complex enterprise and government systems, covering application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security.

• Produce and own architecture deliverables: High-Level Designs (HLD), Low-Level Designs (LLD), architecture decision records, integration specs, and deployment topologies.

• Define and enforce architecture standards, reference architectures, and reusable patterns across delivery teams.

• Lead the technical side of presales. Analyze RFPs, shape solution approaches, estimate effort, and contribute to technical proposals.

• Design microservices-based and cloud-native solutions on Kubernetes, including API gateways, service communication, observability, and resilience patterns.

• Architect integrations with government and third-party platforms (SSO/identity providers, payment gateways, national integration buses, ERP/CRM systems).

• Make sure solutions comply with Saudi regulatory and security frameworks, such as NCA controls (ECC/CCC), DGA standards, and the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL).

• Guide development teams through implementation with design reviews, code/architecture reviews, and technical risk management.

• Work with DevOps to define CI/CD pipelines, environment strategy, and release management on Azure DevOps.

• Present architectures and technical decisions to client stakeholders, including senior technical and non-technical audiences.

• Mentor engineers and tech leads and help grow architecture maturity across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• 10+ years in software engineering, including at least 4 years as a Solution or Software Architect.

• Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale enterprise systems, ideally for government or highly regulated clients.

• Strong hands-on background in .NET, plus solid working knowledge of Angular or React and Node.js.

• Deep expertise in microservices architecture, domain-driven design, API design (REST, event-driven), and integration patterns.

• Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD on Azure DevOps.

• Strong understanding of application security, identity and access management (OAuth2/OIDC, SSO), and high-availability/DR design.

• Experience writing HLD/LLD documents and contributing to technical proposals and RFP responses.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English. Arabic proficiency is a strong advantage, since many client deliverables are in Arabic.

• Willingness to travel regularly to KSA.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Saudi government projects and familiarity with NCA, DGA, and PDPL requirements.

• Experience architecting solutions involving SharePoint or Dynamics 365.

• Exposure to Flutter or mobile architecture.

• Cloud certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent) or TOGAF.

• Experience with AI/LLM integration in enterprise solutions.
