What you will do

• Own product areas end to end, taking entire product areas from a clear goal with an open-ended solution to finished, working products shaped by user feedback.
• Build across the platform, delivering user-facing products across the AI agent, app builder, mobile (PWA) experience, and headless SaaS SDK products.
• Lead features from design to launch, driving work through design, architecture, data modeling, and API design to production launch, then iterating after release.
• Design for simplicity by creating minimal, intuitive UX and UI that allows non-technical users to run critical business systems with confidence.
• Build core SaaS capabilities, including billing and entitlements, product analytics, A/B testing and feature flags, i18n, and notifications.
• Orchestrate durable systems by building and operating durable workflow orchestration (e.g., Temporal) and managing infrastructure as code across fleets of servers and containers.
• Partner with the founders to translate high-level product requirements into shipped software and iterate rapidly on feedback.
• Multiply output with AI by using frontier AI coding tools as a core part of the daily workflow.

What we are looking for

• Module ownership: Has owned and shipped an entire product module end to end (e.g., auth and access management, CMS, email, files, billing).
• Durable workflows: Hands-on production experience with Temporal or a comparable durable workflow orchestrator.
• Infrastructure: Manages infrastructure as code in CDK or Terraform and has orchestrated fleets of servers or containers (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker on AWS).
• Experience: 2–10 years as an infrastructure, platform, or backend engineer at a senior or staff level.
• Startup or high-bar product background: 1+ year at a fast-growing startup under roughly 150 people or at a high-bar developer-tools or product company.
• Databases: Deep production database experience, including schema design, scaling, and performance tuning.
• AI-assisted development: Builds with AI coding tools daily and can walk through their workflow in detail.
• Trajectory: A fast upward career path, with level and scope growing quickly relative to years of experience.
