Responsibilities

  • Evaluation Execution: Independently perform MCU silicon characterization tests, including Current, Fmax, FBIST, RTG, SAR-ADC, and SVR (Switching Voltage Regulator) evaluations.
  • System Setup & Automation: Install, configure, and maintain bench-top measuring instruments. Customize and modify RASCAR automated measurement programs using Python to align with specific hardware requirements.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct measurement verification, analyze test results, and provide comprehensive summary reports for monthly progress reviews.
  • Knowledge Transfer: Act as a key technical Leader and trainer for future team members, documenting evaluation methods and job duties to scale our Vietnam-based evaluation capacity.
  • Collaboration: Maintain close coordination with client to ensure alignment with global quality standards and development schedules.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor post-silicon validation, bring-up, and characterization.
  • 1+ year of technical leadership experience (leading small teams, project ownership, or mentoring juniors).
  • Proficiency in operating lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DC Power Analyzers, Function Generators, etc.).
  • Programming skills in Python (required for RASCAR script modification).
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems or silicon validation is highly preferred.
  • Analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex measurement issues.
  • Strong English communication skills, Japanese communication is a plus.
  • Ability to work with high attention to detail and maintain measurement accuracy.
