Shop Assistant

Capi-Lux (Capi) is a dedicated niche player and the leading airport retailer of consumer electronics in the travel retail market. Our aim is to continuously provide travellers with an inspiring shopping experience! We are currently seeking Shop Assistant to join our team at Abu Dhabi International Airport. The ideal candidate is motivated and customer-oriented individual. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to travelers and assisting with the day-to-day operations of our retail shop. Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner. Assist customers with product inquiries, recommendations, and purchases, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including product displays and merchandising. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit card payments, and refunds. Monitor stock levels and replenish merchandise on the shop floor as needed to ensure availability and visibility of products. Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking the quality and quantity of goods received, and updating inventory records. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the retail shop. Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to maintain a secure and compliant work environment. Stay informed about product features, promotions, and special offers to effectively communicate information to customers. Assist with occasional tasks such as store opening and closing procedures, as well as periodic stock takes and inventory counts. Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is required. Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions. Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, based on the needs of the business. Knowledge of retail operations and familiarity with POS systems is a plus. Fluency in English is required, additional language skills are advantageous. Must be eligible to work at Abu Dhabi International Airport and possess any required security clearances.
