Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Site Logistics Manager to support the delivery of a major data centre project in Frankfurt. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will manage all site logistics, ensuring materials, equipment, deliveries and personnel are coordinated safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the site logistics plan.
• Plan and oversee material transportation, storage and site deliveries.
• Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and internal project teams.
• Manage delivery schedules, access routes and storage areas to support the construction programme.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available when required to prevent delays.
• Monitor inventory levels, reconcile stock and identify supply-chain risks.
• Oversee logistics operatives and coordinate resource requirements.
• Resolve operational issues and escalate significant risks when necessary.
• Work closely with the construction and HSE teams to maintain safe logistics operations.
• Support the coordination of lifting activities where required.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Secure relevant permits for transportation, deliveries and site access.
• Manage logistics budgets and monitor transportation and storage costs.
• Identify waste, improve processes and implement cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain logistics trackers, records and progress reports.
• Promote consistent logistics standards and continuous improvement across the project.

Experience and Requirements

• Previous logistics management experience on major construction projects.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience is highly desirable.
• Strong experience coordinating suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Practical knowledge of site deliveries, material storage and inventory management.
• Ability to develop and manage logistics plans aligned with construction programmes.
• Good understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
• Technical lifting experience would be advantageous.
• SMSTS or SSSTS and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• A hands-on approach and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages would be advantageous.
• Willingness to be site-based in Frankfurt.
