Site Supervisor

Stoddart Group are a leading supplier and installer of products to the residential building industry. A leader in what we do, Stoddart are the often unseen but ever-present backbone of the construction of a new home. This role is part of our Roofing division. Specialising in metal fascia, gutter and roofing, this division is the bustling heart of Stoddart Group and works closely with our amazing builders to ensure we’re an efficient and valuable part of their build.

We are currently looking for a motivated and trade-qualified Site Supervisor to join our Byron Bay team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to come off the tools and step into a leadership-focused role where you can utilise your roofing knowledge, problem-solving ability and people skills to make a real impact on site operations and project delivery.

About the Role

As a Site Supervisor, you’ll play a critical role in coordinating subcontractors, maintaining safety standards, ensuring quality workmanship and supporting efficient delivery across multiple residential sites.

You’ll act as the key link between builders, contractors and internal teams, helping ensure projects run smoothly, safely and to program while maintaining strong customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage roofing installers and subcontractors on site
• Conduct pre-start, progress and post-installation inspections
• Complete site measures and assess project requirements
• Monitor workmanship and ensure quality standards are maintained
• Provide technical guidance and support to crews on site
• Investigate and resolve site issues, defects and leak assessments
• Coordinate works between trades to minimise delays and rework
• Lead by example in all safety matters and site compliance
• Maintain accurate records and manage system applications
• Build strong relationships with builders, contractors and stakeholders

About You

You are proactive, organised and confident making practical decisions in a fast-paced construction environment. You take pride in quality workmanship, communicate effectively with others and understand the importance of strong site leadership.

To be successful, you will have:

• Trade qualification in Roof Plumbing
• Experience in construction, ideally metal roofing, fascia and gutter
• Strong understanding of residential building sites and subcontractor coordination
• High attention to detail and quality focus
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• White Card (Construction Induction Card)
