Social Studies Teacher

We are looking for Social Studies Teachers for an international school based in Beijing. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026. About the school K-12 school in Beijing's Chaoyang District dedicated to cultivating future citizens for personal well-being, lifelong development, and social progress. By integrating general competence into subject courses and using problem-solving projects, the school adopts a "student-centered" approach to encourage active learning and real-life problem-solving skills. Job responsibilities Teach the subject of Social Studies to middle school and high school students in secondary education utilizing the IB framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers Develop supportive and safe learning environments Complete other teaching-related activities as arranged by the school Bachelor’s Degree or above in education or related field Teaching experience with the IB curriculum Excellent communications skills Monthly salary of 25,000 to 30,000 RMB commensurate with experience and qualifications Monthly housing allowance of 6,000 RMB Public holidays Fully paid Summer and Winter holidays Medical health insurance Residence and work permit provided
