About the role

As a distributed systems engineer, you will work on the systems that power the syncing engine relied upon by customers and other engineering teams. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure supporting a global customer base. You will have high levels of ownership and autonomy, owning and delivering projects from start to finish and working directly with customers to solve scaling problems.

What You’ll Do

• Optimize sync speed for important data destinations like Facebook and Snapchat
• Develop streaming syncing capabilities to support real-time data syncs from sources like webhooks and queues
• Address scalability and reliability by evaluating current and future bottlenecks and architecting for growth
• Enhance the Personalization API to provide low latency caching for real-time personalization use cases
• Support the multi-region and multi-cloud backend, extending it to new regions for data residency requirements

• 7+ years of experience in distributed systems engineering
• Expertise in performance optimization and troubleshooting
• Experience with multi-cloud and multi-region infrastructure
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver projects from start to finish
