Software Engineer, Infrastructure

About the Role

Join a platform engineering team at a cybersecurity company building identity governance software for enterprise organizations. You will build and own infrastructure systems that keep the platform secure, reliable, scalable, and performant, while enabling product engineers to ship effectively.

What You'll Do

• Own critical infrastructure components and guide architectural decisions.

• Build and improve reliable, secure, scalable systems for enterprise workloads.

• Develop tools, systems, and practices that help product engineers deliver quickly.

• Collaborate with engineering, product, and company leadership on roadmaps and technical decisions.

• Engage with enterprise customers on product feedback and infrastructure-related issues.

• Improve engineering practices and processes across the platform team.

What We're Looking For

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience building distributed systems.

• Strong software engineering fundamentals and backend development experience in Go or a comparable systems language.

• Experience designing and scaling systems for enterprise workloads or multi-tenant SaaS.

• Production experience deploying, scaling, and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS or GCP.

• Familiarity with infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, and Kafka.

• Experience building platform services or internal developer tools used by product engineers.

• A software engineering background focused on building infrastructure systems, beyond infrastructure operations alone.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $160,000 to $250,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

Hybrid, based in San Francisco, California.
