Software Engineer, Marketplace

About the Role

Build the infrastructure that supports expert acquisition, onboarding, and matching at scale. Working closely with growth partners, you will create the systems and tools that help domain experts contribute to AI training data projects.

What You'll Do

• Build and own marketplace infrastructure for expert outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding.

• Develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects based on fit and availability.

• Automate manual workflows and improve the growth team's operational throughput.

• Partner with growth colleagues to identify bottlenecks, measure the funnel, and ship improvements.

• Develop ML-driven recommendations to anticipate project staffing needs and automate matching.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience and a completed undergraduate degree.

• Proficiency with Node.js or Python, Kubernetes, and experience with tools such as Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch.

• Experience owning and building systems end to end, ideally including core infrastructure at a high-growth venture-backed startup, a trading firm, or an early-stage company.

• Background in marketplace or growth infrastructure is valuable, especially in AI data or other high-growth technology environments.

• Strong computer science fundamentals and a bias toward taking ownership.

• Willingness to work on-site five days a week with flexible working hours.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $250,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
