About the Role

Build the infrastructure and tools that support expert acquisition, assessment, onboarding, and matching for an AI training data platform. You will work closely with growth teammates to improve how domain experts are connected with projects.

What You'll Do

  • Build and own systems for expert outreach, interviewing, assessment, and onboarding.

  • Develop tooling to manage experts and assign them to projects based on fit and availability.

  • Automate manual workflows and build internal tools that improve operational throughput.

  • Partner with growth teammates to identify bottlenecks, measure funnel performance, and ship improvements.

  • Explore machine learning recommendation systems to anticipate project staffing needs and automate matching.

What We're Looking For

  • Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience and a completed undergraduate degree.

  • Proficiency with Node.js or Python, Kubernetes, and experience building and owning systems end to end.

  • Experience scaling core infrastructure, ideally at a high-growth startup or in a marketplace or growth infrastructure role.

  • Familiarity with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch is a plus.

  • Strong ownership, sound engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work effectively with operational teams.

  • Authorization to work in the United States without relying on student visa status is required.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual base salary is $250,000 to $300,000. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week, Monday through Friday. Flexible working hours are expected.
