Software Engineer, Marketplace Infrastructure

About the Role

Build the infrastructure that powers expert acquisition, onboarding, and matching for an applied AI data company. You will work closely with growth teammates to turn manual processes into reliable systems that help experts contribute to projects efficiently.

What You'll Do

• Build and own marketplace systems for expert outreach, interviewing, assessments, and onboarding.

• Develop tools to manage experts and match them to projects based on skills and availability.

• Create automations and internal tools that improve operational throughput and reduce manual work.

• Partner with growth teammates to identify bottlenecks, measure funnel performance, and ship improvements.

• Help develop machine learning-based recommendations to anticipate expert needs and improve project staffing.

What We're Looking For

• Two to five years of full-stack software engineering experience, with a track record of owning projects end to end.

• Proficiency with Node.js or Python and experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience building or scaling core infrastructure at a high-growth startup, trading firm, or early-stage company.

• A bachelor's degree from a highly regarded university in the US, Canada, or Europe.

• Marketplace, growth infrastructure, or human data experience is a plus.

• Experience with Kafka, Redis, or Elasticsearch is helpful.

• Comfort working on-site five days a week with flexible hours.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $250,000 to $300,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
