  • Ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary engineering environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence and support technical teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 5-10%) as project needs require.

It’s preferred if you bring:

  • Experience developing software for automated test equipment, test stands, or hardware-in-the-loop systems.
  • Experience with LabVIEW, dSPACE, MATLAB/Simulink, or similar test and simulation platforms.
  • Experience with data acquisition, instrumentation, automation, and control systems.

  • Experience supporting system verification and validation activities.
  • Demonstrated success mentoring and developing engineers in a technical environment.
  • Experience in a laboratory, test, or development environment involving integrated hardware and software systems.
  • Hands-on mechanical or electrical troubleshooting experience.

As a Software Engineering Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers and interns responsible for automated test system development and integration.
  • Provide technical leadership for software architectures, development efforts, integration activities, and verification testing associated with aerospace test equipment.
  • Participate directly in engineering projects, contributing hands-on software development, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving.
  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications used for data acquisition, control systems, automation, and test execution.
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop, simulation, and automated test environments used to validate electromechanical and electrohydraulic flight control systems.
  • Collaborate with site leadership and engineering managers to prioritize work, allocate resources, and ensure successful project execution.
  • Perform software integration and verification activities utilizing both real and simulated hardware environments.
  • Drive engineering process compliance while identifying opportunities to improve software quality, development efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Conduct performance reviews, support employee development plans, participate in workforce planning activities, and assist with recruiting and hiring efforts.
  • Partner with systems, electrical, mechanical, and test engineers to deliver integrated test solutions that meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives.
