Specialist / Consultant Rheumatologist in Government Sector in UAE
SearchPlus HRA leading healthcare organization in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist / Consultant Rheumatologist to join its expanding medical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive diagnosis and management of rheumatologic, autoimmune, and musculoskeletal disorders, working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment supported by modern diagnostic and treatment facilities. Candidates with UK CCT, Western qualifications, American Board, Australian Board, and South African Board credentials are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and manage a broad range of rheumatologic and autoimmune conditions. Manage inflammatory arthritis, connective tissue diseases, vasculitis, osteoporosis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment, laboratory findings, and imaging. Monitor disease activity, treatment response, and medication-related complications. Manage complex and chronic rheumatologic conditions. Provide appropriate joint and soft-tissue assessments and procedures where applicable. Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists, endocrinologists, dermatologists, and other specialists. Provide patient education regarding disease management, lifestyle, and long-term care. Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation. Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives. Maintain high standards of patient safety, evidence-based practice, and clinical governance. MBBS, MD, or equivalent medical qualification. Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology . Relevant post-specialization clinical experience. Strong experience managing autoimmune, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal disorders. Candidates with UK CCT / MRCP, American Board, Australian Board, South African Board , or equivalent internationally recognized specialist qualifications are encouraged to apply. Experience in a tertiary-care hospital or multispecialty healthcare setting preferred. Strong clinical judgment and diagnostic skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence. Experience in biologic therapies, autoimmune disease management, musculoskeletal ultrasound, or procedural rheumatology will be an advantage. Competitive tax-free annual salary package.
