Role Summary/Purpose :

• We are building a new age eCommerce platform and are looking for a self starter, motivated developer to join our dynamic developer community.
  

• As a part of this role, you will Design, Develop and Support robust, scalable and high performance applications that support and further enhance our eCommerce Operations
  

• This role will work closely with product managers and digital team members to understand the requirements and develop applications, micro-services/frontends, APIs and their integration to build distributed systems.
  

• You must be willing to learn new technologies and stay on top of updates in the current frameworks and be willing to adopt the technologies in a quick time.
  
  

Responsibilities :

• Develop Secure Web applications while supporting day to day operations of our ECommerce platforms that runs on the Headless paradigm as well as storefront implementations
  

• Contribute to Solutioning and Design new integrations between the sites and ERP
  

• Drive platform stability while enhancing system upgrades and optimizing deployment pipelines
  

• Arrive at designs for Complex Integrations and implement them
  

• Collaborate with team members with diverse technical backgrounds to arrive at the right solution fix for day to day digital problems
  

• Conduct Code reviews and provide quality feedback while contributing to overall program maturity
  

• Have a desire to learn new platforms and share knowledge with other team members to further drive platform development/resilience/operational excellence

Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelors (Computer Science /Computer Applications / Maths / Engineering disciplines)
  

• Minimum 3 Years of Experience in Large scale platform level development and implementations
  

• Good understanding of Modern JS (ECMA6) frameworks - React/Next with Typescript
  

• Experience with creating and consuming Rest and/Or GraphQL APIs preferably with Node.js

• Good understanding of serverless deployment landscapes and cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform
  

• Experience with Programmable CSS libraries like Tailwind and Bootstrap and/or SCSS
  

• Knowledge of Figma/other design tools and CMS systems
  

• Have experience with one or more eCommerce SAAS engines like Shopify, VTEX, Magento, Bloomreach, BigCommerce
  

• Working knowledge of GIT source code control and branching methodologies, debugging, performance monitoring, benchmarking, logging, and testing tools
  

• Testing tools like Karma/Jest/Jasmine/Cypress for writing end to end test cases
  

• Experience with building applications from scratch

Preferred/Nice to Have Qualifications:

• Knowledge of caching services like Redis
  

• Knowledge with Front end build processes
  

• Knowledge of any one other back end programming language, preferred, but not a must
  

• Knowledge of any one type of DB preferred but not required
  

• Familiarity with data privacy concepts (GDPR, PCI, HIPAA), cyber security, cookie policy, & accessibility standards
  

• Communication Skills : Experience with dealing with teams with diverse backgrounds and locations will be a plus
  

• Leadership Skills : Self starter and motivated to take ownership of tasks provided
  

• Project Management tools like : Visual Studio Team Services, JIRA, Asana or any other modern PM tools like Trello, ClickUP
