School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Maternity Leave Coverage Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite Grade Levels: K–5 Hourly Rate: $44.00–$56.00/hour Assignment Dates: September 11, 2026 – Approximately January 2027 About the Position AnthroMed Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage for an elementary school-based position. This is a great opportunity for an SLP who enjoys working with students in a general education setting and values collaboration with teachers and school staff. The SLP will support a caseload of approximately 60 students in grades K–5, primarily providing services to students with mild communication needs. The caseload consists of general education students receiving inclusion and resource support, as well as students receiving SILI services. Position Details Full-time, onsite position Grades K–5 Approximately 60 students on caseload Primarily mild general education population Inclusion and resource support services SILI services School hours: 8:30 AM–4:00 PM 7-hour workday, with additional time including lunch Maternity leave coverage beginning September 11, 2026 , through approximately the end of January 2027 Dedicated private office space Collaborative school-based environment Responsibilities Provide speech and language therapy to students based on their IEP goals and service needs Conduct assessments and participate in the development and implementation of IEPs Provide direct and/or consultative services through inclusion, resource support, and SILI programming Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other related service providers Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring Support students in accessing and participating successfully in their educational environment Utilize evidence-based practices to address students' communication needs Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid Indiana Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility for licensure ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply School-based experience is preferred but not required Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Why AnthroMed Education?
