About the role

In this role you will provide assessment and therapy for paediatric clients aged 0-18 years, with opportunities to work with adults or specific age groups available upon discussion. You will deliver sessions in homes, schools, kindergartens, daycares, and the clinic room. You will build and maintain professional relationships with key stakeholders, referral networks, families and educators, complete clinical documentation and reporting for NDIS, Medicare and private paying clients, and participate in Day Dot community events including group therapy, information and educational seminars, and presentations at kindergartens and playgroups. You will also participate in weekly supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, team-based learning and external professional development funded by the company, with potential for outreach day trips to rural towns if desired.

This role can be based in Toowoomba or Roma, or a mixture of both (DIDO/outreach from Toowoomba).

Key responsibilities

About you

Have completed a Bachelor of Speech Pathology
Hold current Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) membership
Hold current Blue Card, professional indemnity insurance and driver's license
Have experience or an interest in orofacial myology, feeding and speech sound disorders
Be driven and eager to grow, learn, and build a career
Enjoy working with children and making therapy fun
Want a genuine work/life balance
Be reliable with excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with the team
Enjoy working both independently and with a team
