Will Lawrence, Founder

Will led product for Facebook's anti-money laundering (AML) platform, combatting financial crimes across payment, gaming and e-commerce use cases. He also built core compliance infrastructure at Paxos, a growth-staged fintech that powers over 10M crypto wallets globally. He's now Co-founder and CEO of Greenlite, helping fintechs scale financial crime operations with AI.

Alex Jin, Founder

Formerly a product manager and engineer at Dropbox. First employee at Flixed where I led product development and built a programmatic content engine. Co-founder of Greenlite.

About the role

As a Senior/Staff Engineer at Greenlite, you’ll be responsible for the development and scaling of our core investigation platform, as well as new products that will be crucial in automating compliance workflows. You're eager to talk to customers, scope solutions to ambiguous problems, and emphasize shipping value (not just code).

We're looking for "Super ICs"; people who love to build, know best practices, and are in love with the craft of building/architecting elegant solutions. They should be in a high-slope phase of their career where they are eager to learn, try new things, and tackle ambitious problems.

What you'll do

• Build net new product surfaces,

• scale existing products,

• support enterprise implementations

What you'll bring

• 5-10 years of proven experience as a Full Stack or Backend Engineer

  • Experience with our tech stack (NextJS, Node, Postgres, Typescript, Supabase)

  • or demonstrated ability to jump between different languages.

• Strong tenures (2.5 years)

  • seen projects through and received the proper feedback from the technical decisions made.

• Experience architecting backend systems.

• Based in the Bay Area, excited to work grow our in-person eng team in SF.

• Experience in or open to working with customers to develop the product.

We'd love to see

• Experience working in a high-growth, seed-Series B startup, or in a startup-like environment.

• Experience with data modeling and migrating schemas.

• Excited to join an early stage startup

• Natural interest in our industry or capacity to fall in love with the work and solve these industry problems
