Join one of the TOP global leaders in affiliate marketing for sports and betting and help shape its growing technology hub in Bratislava.

The company is re-architecting its publishing platform into a white-labelled, multi-tenant product built on Domain-Driven Design. The platform serves over a billion visits a year across 100+ countries. The company is profitable and is investing heavily to transform a platform that already works.

This is not a role where you pick up tickets. We’re looking for a strong Senior or Staff engineer who still codes every day and also sets technical direction.

Two teams, same profile, different mission

1. Web Performance & Architecture (comparison platform)

For the person who asks “why is the site slow, and how do we make it fast?”

• Own technical optimisation: Core Web Vitals, page weight, response times, caching
• Run technical audits and turn the findings into practical improvements
• Design scalable, multi-tenant platform capabilities and take on complex architectural decisions
• Modernise legacy code step by step while still delivering new features

2. Fast Response

For the person who is “the last line when something breaks.”

This is a team of 9 engineers working across all Gaming brands.

• Own the rapid diagnosis and resolution of production issues and complex bugs
• Find root causes across multiple services and teams, and fix causes rather than symptoms
• Build and improve triage and incident processes
• Become the trusted escalation point, so Principal Engineers can focus on strategy

We’ll discuss with you which mission suits you better.

In both roles you’ll also

• Influence engineering standards, architecture and ways of working
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar
• Help scale AI-assisted engineering workflows

Tech stack: PHP (Laravel / Symfony) · JavaScript / TypeScript · React / Vue (Next.js / Nuxt) · Tailwind · Contentful · AWS · Monitoring & Observability

The team is stack-agnostic. If you’re a strong fullstack engineer in Java, Node.js, .NET or Go, you’re welcome too. PHP/React experience is an advantage, because that’s the stack you’ll work in day to day.

What we’re looking for

• Fullstack experience on large-scale, customer-facing (B2C) web applications
• Strong HTML & CSS (this is the one hard must)
• Real architectural experience and end-to-end ownership of what you build
• Confidence working in legacy systems and simplifying them incrementally
• Experience debugging production systems and doing root-cause analysis
• Good understanding of web performance (Core Web Vitals, rendering, caching) or incident management, depending on the team
• Clear communication with engineering, product and business stakeholders
• Bonus: high-traffic or SEO-focused content platforms, AWS, observability tooling

We don’t measure seniority by years on your CV. We care about the quality of your technical decisions and what you personally owned.

Hiring process: talent interview (30–45 min) → take-home coding task → 90-min technical interview with the Hiring Manager and senior engineers → leadership interview with the CTO and People Partner.
