Strategic Projects Lead

About the Role

Join an AI expert services marketplace as a client-facing operator responsible for delivering high-value expert research and data projects. You will own projects from planning through fulfillment, work closely with clients and experts, and help improve the processes and products that support delivery.

What You'll Do

• Manage several expert delivery projects at once across human data and market research.

• Communicate proactively with clients, advise on project feasibility and screening criteria, and build strong working relationships.

• Recruit and reactivate experts from an internal network to meet project needs.

• Identify delivery bottlenecks and collaborate with engineering on product and process improvements.

• Grow client accounts by delivering reliable project outcomes and excellent service.

What We're Looking For

• Zero to two years of experience in project delivery or operations at a high-growth startup, consulting, or a similarly fast-paced environment; recent graduates are also welcome.

• Experience managing projects end to end, including expert recruiting, direct client communication, and delivery of project outcomes.

• Confidence communicating and negotiating with enterprise stakeholders.

• A bachelor's degree from a highly regarded U.S. university, or one to two years of experience at a high-growth startup.

• Strong written and verbal communication, resourcefulness, stamina, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.

• Experience with a marketplace or staffing platform is helpful.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $120,000 to $160,000. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in San Francisco, California, five days per week, with flexibility to work a sixth day.
