WHO YOU ARE
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems Business Area is seeking an experienced Aegis Maintainer to support the Defense of Guam - Aegis Weapons System located near Andersen Airforce Bace in Guam.
The selected candidate will serve as the technical subject matter expert for the Defense of Guam program. You will analyze, evaluate, and maintain Aegis combat systems, advanced radar products, and associated peripheral systems. This role requires relocation to Guam for a multi-year expat assignment.
The selected candidate will provide a level of postsales support and service to customer sites and remote sites at a high-tech level that cannot be rendered by the basic level of field hardware and systems software service. Employee is usually introduced to the customer site when the nature of equipment service required is beyond the skill level possessed by the basic field/customer service engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance & Repair: Conduct site-level preventive and corrective maintenance, fault isolation, alignments, part installations, and equipment repair on assigned systems and interfaces.
- Technical Evaluations: Support system assessments, equipment functional checks, technical assists, and comprehensive troubleshooting/test analysis.
- System Integration: Oversee the operation and upkeep of peripheral, support, and C4I communications equipment located in Guam.
Basic Qualifications
- Proven track record in Aegis Combat Systems maintenance, or Advanced Radar, Sensor, or Optics Maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with preventive and corrective maintenance on military radar systems and subsystems.
- Willingness to accept a multi-year expat assignment to Guam.
- Ability to obtain an Interim DoD Secret security clearance prior to start. (US citizenship required to obtain clearance).
Desired Skills
Knowledge and operational maintenance skills associated with systems, including:
- Aegis Combat Systems (T16 Mod 1 System – Commercial)
- Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES)
- Automated Digital Network System (ADNS)
- Joint Tactical Terminal - Maritime Evolved (JTT-ME)
- Global Positioning System-based Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (GPNTS/GPS)
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500.00 - $151300.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
