Technical Program Manager (TPM) - GCP Cloud Infrastructure

We are searching for a talented Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead enterprise-scale cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

This role involves coordinating cross-functional engineering and operations teams, managing complex technical programs, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions in a global environment.

The ideal candidate combines strong cloud infrastructure knowledge with proven program management and stakeholder leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of GCP cloud infrastructure and platform initiatives
• Align engineering, DevOps, operations, and other cross-functional groups to ensure program success
• Manage program schedules, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource allocation
• Drive alignment between technical and business stakeholders while providing regular program status updates
• Oversee large-scale cloud infrastructure deployments and transformation efforts, ensuring outcomes meet agreed-upon quality, performance, security, and reliability benchmarks
• Identify delivery risks and operational obstacles early and drive efforts toward mitigation and resolution
• Coordinate dependencies across multiple teams and workstreams within a complex global environment
• Collaborate with distributed teams across various time zones, including attending PST-aligned meetings and activities as needed

Requirements

• 8+ years in Technical Program Management, Program Management, or a comparable role, focused on cloud, infrastructure, or platform programs
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and cloud-native technologies
• Showcase of managing large-scale cloud infrastructure, platform, or cloud transformation programs
• Understanding of technical delivery processes, covering dependencies, risks, release planning, and operational readiness
• Skills in program planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
• Background in coordinating distributed, cross-functional teams within a global environment
• Capability to communicate clearly with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders
• Strong sense of ownership along with organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Qualifications in associate-level cloud certification (Google Cloud Associate Cloud Engineer or equivalent), professional AI credentials, and hands-on enterprise GenAI experience (e.g., Vertex AI / Gemini)
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or another relevant GCP certification
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar program/project management certification
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Background in large-scale cloud migration or modernization programs
• Track record of collaborating with teams and stakeholders across US/PST time zones

Nice to have

• Professional / Expert GCP Certifications: a professional-level credential (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer)
• Pre-Sales & RFP Leadership: leading complex RFP responses, GCP solution architectures and sizing, commercial pricing strategies, and executive-level client pitch presentations
