Our client is a profitable, venture-backed AI software company that builds agentic AI for financial institutions. Their platform automates customer conversations and back-office work for banks and lenders, and demand is growing fast.

About the role

We are hiring a Technical Project Manager to own customer implementations from signed contract to a successful AI go-live. This is the company's first dedicated implementation role, so you will shape how the program runs and scales.

What you will do

• Run 7 to 10 customer implementations at the same time, from kickoff through go-live and a short hypercare period
• Lead kickoffs and weekly customer meetings, manage escalations, and keep customer and internal teams on schedule
• Manage integration timelines for banking, lending and payments systems with Solutions Architects, Product and Customer Success
• Work with Product to track, prioritize and resolve defects and change requests found during deployments
• Build repeatable implementation playbooks from scratch, including how customers use self-service tools to keep improving their AI

What we are looking for

• 4 to 8 years of experience as a technical project manager or implementation manager
• You have owned end-to-end, client-facing deployments inside enterprise or mid-market customer environments at a B2B SaaS company
• You build and improve processes without an established playbook
• You use AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT or Claude in your daily work
• Bachelor's degree

Nice to have

• Experience deploying software to banks, credit unions, lenders or other financial institutions
• Familiarity with conversational AI, voice AI, agentic AI or contact center technology

Details

• On-site 5 days a week in San Francisco, CA
• 10 to 20% travel to customer sites in the US
• Base salary $185K to $230K plus variable compensation and equity
