Toolmaker / Mold Maintenance Technician

Role & Responsibilities

• Repair, service, and maintain injection molds.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure molds remain in optimal working condition.
• Diagnose mold and tooling issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble injection molds and their components.
• Manufacture and repair tooling, mold components, and production fixtures.
• Support mold trials and troubleshoot mold-related issues during production.

Requirements

• Technical or vocational education in toolmaking, machining, mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in toolmaking, mold assembly, maintenance, or repair of injection molds.
• Good understanding of injection mold construction, components, mechanisms, and operating principles.
• Experience in repairing and maintaining injection molds of varying complexity, including cold runner and hot runner systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings for molds and tooling.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• A responsible, detail-oriented, and quality-focused approach to work.
• Good working knowledge of technical English.
• Knowledge of Russian is an advantage.
