Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company (DTLC) is hiring a Trade Compliance Manager on behalf of our client, an aerospace and defense manufacturer, for its Commercial Aircraft Group in East Aurora, New York.

As the Global Trade Compliance Manager, you will work directly with the Commercial Aircraft Group in its pursuit of both domestic and international business opportunities, developing complex trade compliance strategies. You will also serve as the liaison between the Aircraft Regional Trade Compliance Manager and a diverse global network of stakeholders within functions such as Business Development, Supply Chain, Contracts, Engineering, and Finance.

Ideally, you will have a strong background in both U.S. and global trade laws and regulations. The client will consider candidates with a strong U.S. trade compliance background who have the initiative and drive to become knowledgeable in the trade compliance rules and regulations of other countries as needed. You should be able to demonstrate flexibility, adaptability, and resourcefulness to ensure compliance goals are identified and achieved.

Compensation

Base salary of $140,000 to $160,000 per year. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 7 years of experience with export and import tasks and regulations.
  • 3 years of program or project management experience.
  • Subject matter expertise in U.S. export and import regulations including, but not limited to, ITAR, EAR, ATF, and OFAC. International trade compliance expertise is a plus.
  • Experience using ERP and trade-specific tools such as SAP, GTS, OCR EASE, SNAP-R, DECCS, and the ATF electronic submission process.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (for example, MS Project or Planner, Azure DevOps or Jira), PowerPoint, and data and BI tools (for example, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau).

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in a manufacturing environment will be fast-tracked for interviews.

Work Authorization
