Job Description This training center in Shenzhen delivers high-quality English education using the internationally recognized Cambridge Curriculum. The school serves students aged 2 to 16 and maintains a supportive, student-focused environment. Teachers benefit from modern facilities, Cambridge-aligned materials, and a collaborative team culture. Curriculum Overview (About the Role) The Cambridge Curriculum framework guides all English instruction at this center. • Focuses on communicative competence and real-world language use • Aligns with internationally recognized learning milestones • Supports mixed-proficiency learners through structured progression • Encourages active student participation and critical thinking • Integrates regular assessment to track language development Teachers receive full training and materials to deliver this curriculum effectively. Position Overview The ESL Teacher delivers engaging Cambridge Curriculum lessons to students aged 2 to 16. This role works within a collaborative instructor team and reports to the academic coordinator. Teachers also support monthly marketing events to promote the center. Working Hours • Days: 5 working days per week (two off days discussed at interview) Class Structure • Class size: 8 to 12 students • Details: Age groups from 2-16, leveled by Cambridge proficiency stages • Teaching team per class: o Lead ESL Teacher o Teaching Assistant (for younger age groups) o Support staff as needed Key Responsibilities • Deliver engaging, interactive English lessons to students aged 2-16 at various proficiency levels • Teach and align lessons with the Cambridge Curriculum framework to meet international learning milestones • Develop curriculum and lesson plans based on student needs and learning objectives • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support language development • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and learning • Collaborate with fellow instructors to share best practices and improve educational outcomes • Participate in and support marketing events (once per month) including open houses, trial classes, and seasonal fairs Requirements • Native English speaker from a visa-eligible country (UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa) • Bachelor’s degree • TEFL/TESOL certification • Previous teaching experience preferred • Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching • Ability to engage and motivate students across age groups Benefits • Salary: ¥20,000 – ¥22,500 RMB/month • Professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills • Supportive and collaborative working environment • Holidays TBD • Two off days per week (schedule discussed during interview) • Training and materials for the Cambridge Curriculum provided • Legal work visa sponsorship • Marketing event participation with center support
