Role: Travel Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsible for supporting patients' mobility and rehabilitation under supervision of licensed therapists.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized treatment plans developed by supervising PTs.
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional mobility activities.
Monitor, document, and report patient progress.
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and rehab techniques.
Maintain a safe therapy environment and assist with patient mobility.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Skills

Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program.
Active PTA license or eligibility for licensure in multiple states.
Preferred minimum of 1 year clinical experience; strong skills encouraged for new grads.
Ability to adapt to new settings and patient populations.
Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
Passion for patient care and willingness to travel for assignments.

Additional Details: The role involves working 40 hours per week, typically 8-hour days, on a travel basis, with support for relocation and ongoing assistance.
