About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join Aurelia Metals as an Underground Training Advisor and play a key role in developing the people who power our operation. As Aurelia continues to grow through the Great Cobar Project and our expanding mining operations, we are investing in workforce capability, safety and leadership. Reporting to the Learning & Development Superintendent, you will help shape the next generation of underground miners by delivering engaging training, assessing competency and supporting people to build successful careers in mining. Working closely with operational leaders and employees across site, you'll be a trusted coach and mentor, helping individuals gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to work safely and perform at their best. From facilitating underground inductions and accredited training programs to designing learning pathways and supporting compliance requirements, you'll have a genuine impact on both individual development and operational success. Roster: 8/6, 12 hours per day (Dayshift only) Location: Peak Mine, Cobar NSW Travel options Residents enjoy a balanced roster and the opportunity to settle into the family-friendly township of Cobar. Relocation support is available, along with a residential allowance DIDO if you live within an 800km radius of the Mine site which includes a travel allowance FIFO from Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne Qualifications and experience Essential Experience in an underground mining environment Competency in operating underground or surface mobile equipment Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent) Current C Class Manual Driver's Licence Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and maintaining training records Desirable Experience delivering accredited courses such as First Aid, CPR, LVR and Confined Space Exposure to auditing, verification of competency (VOC) and compliance activities Experience developing training materials, learning resources and training programs MAKE AN IMPACT, GET RECOGNISED – BE AN AURELIAN At Aurelia Metals, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
