Location HCM Onsite (Relocation Support) We are seeking an experienced Game Art Director to lead the visual direction and creative strategy for our mobile game portfolio. You will define the artistic vision, ensure visual consistency across products, and guide artists and cross-functional teams to deliver world-class aesthetics that elevate player engagement and marketability. This role is central to shaping how our games look, feel, and stand out globally. WHAT YOU WILL DO Own the end-to-end UI/UX direction, setting standards for clarity, usability, and visual polish across all products. Ensure efficient artists team workflows, resource planning, and clear communication. Provide creative direction and mentorship to designers and artists, maintaining consistency across game assets, UI, animations, and branding. across departments. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Game Designer, Technical Artist, and Developers to align artistic decisions with gameplay, usability, and production constraints. Review, refine, and approve all visual deliverables, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks and support player engagement goals. Drive continuous research into top-performing mobile games, market trends, and regional visual preferences (e.g., Korea, Japan, US) to strengthen competitive advantage. Partner with the UA and Creative teams to bring learnings from ad creatives and store tests into the in-game product experience. QUALIFICATIONS Technical Requirements Minimum 4–6 years of experience in game art, UI/UX, or creative leadership, including at least 1–2 years in a senior or lead role. Deep understanding of mobile game art styles, usability patterns, and UI frameworks. Strong capability in visual direction, creative strategy, and building cohesive art systems. Experience reviewing and guiding work across multiple domains (UI, concept art, animation, VFX, marketing assets). Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc.). Background in mobile gaming is highly preferred. Experience with animation or motion design is a plus. Proactive problem-solver who anticipates challenges and drives visual innovation. Portfolio showcasing leadership in visual direction is required.
