Vascular Neurology Opportunity in Greenville, NC
ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Neurology-Greenville, located in Greenville, North Carolina, are seeking a Vascular Neurologist to join their stroke team. The successful candidate will provide both inpatient and tele-stroke patient care. ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed Level I Trauma Center, serves as the regional leader for Neurosciences and is the only Comprehensive Stroke Center in eastern North Carolina. Candidates must be ABPN board certified or eligible. US vascular neurology fellowship or vast experience in vascular neurology is required.

- Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center, a 974-bed Level I Trauma Center and comprehensive stroke center
- Academic appointment with East Carolina University at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor
- Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists. The subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology. There is also a large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off schedule with 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights
- Tele-stroke during night shifts
- No call
- Inpatient stroke shift is consult only with no admission or discharge responsibilities
- Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID
