The clinic Greencross Deeragun is a well-established GP clinic with a loyal client base and a welcoming, down-to-earth team. You’ll be supported by experienced vets and nurses, with access to: Digital X-ray and modern diagnostic equipment Fully equipped surgical theatre Separate dog and cat wards A steady, varied caseload across medicine and surgery We’re a team that leans on each other. The role This is a permanent full-time position (38 hours per week), typically across 4 days, with a balanced mix of consults and surgery. You’ll be responsible for: Delivering high-quality, personalised care to patients and clients Routine consults and soft tissue surgery Working through cases with a collaborative team around you Building strong client relationships and trust Contributing to a positive, supportive clinic culture What we’re looking for A Veterinary degree recognised in Australia Registration or eligibility with the Veterinary Surgeons Board of Queensland A team-first mindset and a willingness to learn Confidence in general practice or a desire to keep building your skills Strong communication and client care Whether you’re a recent graduate, have completed an internship, or are a more experienced vet looking for a lifestyle change, we’re open to shaping this role around the right person.
