We are a small animal, first opinion hospital offering 24-hour care with a strong vet team of 19, including 6 Certificate holders in cardiology, dermatology, medicine, and surgery (both soft tissue and orthopaedic), plus fellow Vets currently studying further certificates. Clinical Excellence : We have constantly pushed the boundaries on delivering the highest pet care through the calibre and qualifications of our Vets and Nurses and through the friendliness and professionalism of our Client Care teams. Not only do we have great clinical facilities, we also have a spacious break room - including posh coffees! We have a dedicated night team on site that covers all OOH work. Our last appointment is at 6.30pm during weekdays, and weekend work is shared fairly amongst the team on a rota basis - with time back in lieu the following week. What we are looking for We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident across a broad range of first-opinion cases and is passionate about delivering consistently high standards of patient and client care. You’ll be: RCVS registered , with extensive veterinary experience and a strong clinical foundation across first-opinion practice. A confident and capable clinician with a genuine interest in championing clinical excellence and supporting colleagues through mentoring, particularly within surgical or medical workflows. Collaborative and team-focused , with a commitment to maintaining high standards of clinical and surgical care. An excellent communicator who can explain complex diagnoses, treatment options and clinical guidance clearly, with empathy, professionalism and confidence . Someone who enjoys sharing knowledge, supporting the development of others and contributing positively to a caring and supportive team.
