Job Description Our client is seeking its first Vice President of Human Resources to build, lead, and personally operate the company’s global people function. This is an Executive role with substantial direct execution responsibility: Vice President of Human Resources will set the strategy for organizational design, total rewards, talent, and culture, and will personally construct the frameworks, policies, and systems that deliver it across the United States, Argentina, and the United Kingdom. They are developing advanced nuclear energy solutions intended to deliver reliable, scalable, and carbonfree electricity for industrial and grid applications. Our international team brings together nuclear, engineering, commercial, regulatory, and project-development experience. We are building an organization focused on disciplined engineering, responsible execution, and the deployment of nuclear energy at meaningful scale. The Opportunity The Vice President of Human Resources will be both the accountable executive and the senior practitioner for how Client organizes, rewards, develops, and retains the engineers, scientists, operators, and builders its mission depends on. This is not an advisory seat. As a member of the leadership team reporting directly to the President, you will shape organizational design and culture at the executive table, and you will personally build the systems that deliver them: compensation and equity structures, policies, HR operations, and the full employee lifecycle across three countries. The work matters now because people systems are the foundation for everything ahead of us, and deploying nuclear energy at meaningful scale requires attracting and keeping some of the scarcest technical talent in the world. This role is ideal for someone who: · Believes nuclear energy is essential to a clean energy future and wants their work to count toward it. · Is energized by building people systems from a blank page rather than inheriting and maintaining them. · Moves fluidly between executive strategy and hands-on execution, and enjoys both. · Wants to define what a world-class, multi-country people function looks like at a company that will scale quickly. What You’ll Do Build and Lead the People Function Own the people strategy end to end. You will set the vision for organizational design, total rewards, talent, and culture, then personally build the systems that deliver it, including the HR information system, payroll, performance management, and the full employee lifecycle. You will establish HR service standards and operating rhythms that scale with rapid headcount growth across three countries, provide direction and support for in-country HR operations in Argentina while building the broader structure over time, and create people analytics that leadership trusts, covering headcount, turnover, compensation equity, retention, and span of control, and use them to drive decisions. Design and Own Total Rewards Own compensation strategy. You will build job leveling frameworks, salary bands, and equity allocation methodologies benchmarked to market across the United States, Argentina, and the United Kingdom, and own the employee stock option program and equity incentive structures in partnership with finance and legal on design, allocation, and communication. You will establish health, retirement, and other benefits programs that balance cost, competitiveness, and employee needs across regions, and conduct market compensation analyses to keep Client competitive for specialized technical roles. Run Multi-Country Employment, Talent Acquisition, and Compliance Design location-specific employment policies and compensation structures that comply with local law in each country while preserving global consistency. You will partner with local counsel across jurisdictions, manage work authorization, visa sponsorship, and relocation for international hires, and determine where local HR presence is required versus where centralized support is sufficient. You will also lead hiring for specialized technical and corporate roles, manage search firms and recruiting partners for hard-to-fill positions, and design interview processes that balance speed and rigor. Lead Culture, Employee Relations, and Governance. Shape and steward the company culture as Client scales, partnering with the leadership team on organizational design. You will personally lead sensitive employee relations matters and investigations with discretion, thoroughness, and sound judgment; draft, implement, and enforce HR policies covering conduct, discipline, leave, and workplace standards; partner with legal on disputes, terminations, and high-risk situations; and serve as the senior escalation point for complex people situations across all locations. Requirements What We’re Looking For Required Qualifications · 10+ years of progressive people and HR leadership, including time at the executive or senior leadership level, with a demonstrated record of building and operating people functions rather than only advising on them. · Deep total rewards experience. You have personally built compensation frameworks, salary bands, benefits programs, and equity or stock option structures. · Multi-country experience supporting employees in at least two countries, including Latin America. · A hands-on execution history. You have personally built systems, written policies, conducted investigations, and implemented HR information systems. · Experience hiring specialized technical talent, such as engineers, scientists, or skilled trades, in competitive markets. · Professional fluency in Spanish, sufficient to manage HR operations and in-country staff in Argentina. · Deep knowledge of US employment law and working knowledge of international labor frameworks. · Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred), or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Qualifications · Experience in a technically complex, regulated, or high-stakes industry such as energy, aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or infrastructure. · Experience standing up the people function at a high-growth or venture-backed company. · UK or broader European employment experience. · Experience selecting and implementing leading HR information system platforms. · Relevant certifications such as SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent. · Eligibility for the screenings and clearances associated with work in the nuclear industry. The Candidate We Are Seeking The strongest candidate is a strategist and a doer in equal measure: someone who operates at the executive level and still builds the spreadsheet, writes the policy, runs the investigation, and configures the system when the moment calls for it. They are at home where no playbook exists, create order from ambiguity, and maintain discipline in documentation, data integrity, and process even while moving fast. They balance global consistency with local adaptation across the United States, Latin America, and Europe, and they should be prepared to discuss people functions, compensation frameworks, and policies they personally built. Benefits Client offers comprehensive health insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and participation in the company’s employee stock option program, subject to plan terms and eligibility. The final offer will reflect the candidate’s depth in total rewards, multi-country experience, Spanish proficiency, and relevant skills. High-Quality Workplace. Work from a modern Dallas office designed to support collaboration, productivity, and employee well-being, including an on-site fitness facility.
