Waiter/Waitress

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiter / Waitress to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and providing attentive service throughout the dining experience.

The ideal candidate should have good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy restaurant or hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  
• Escort customers to their tables when required.
  
• Present menus and provide information about food, beverages, and available specials.
  
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
  
• Check orders before serving to ensure accuracy and proper presentation.
  
• Respond to guest questions and accommodate reasonable requests.
  
• Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
  
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff regarding orders and special requests.
  
• Prepare tables before service and reset them after customers leave.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
  
• Process bills and customer payments when required.
  
• Handle customer concerns politely and refer serious issues to the supervisor.
  
• Follow food hygiene, cleanliness, and workplace safety procedures.
  
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
  
• Maintain good knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and promotions.
  
• Support colleagues during busy service periods.
  
• Perform other duties assigned by the Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
  
  
  
  

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
  
• Previous experience as a Waiter, Waitress, Server, or similar hospitality role is an advantage.
  
• Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also be considered.
  
• Good English communication skills.
  
• Additional languages are an advantage.
  
• Friendly and professional approach to customer service.
  
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Good personal hygiene and professional presentation.
  
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
