Job Description:

Warehouse Supervisor - P&F

Solventum Purification & Filtration business

We are pleased to report that Solventum has successfully completed the sale of its Purification & Filtration (P&F) business to Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. (Thermo Fischer). This is a significant milestone for the P&F business, allowing for the strategic investment and resources needed to sustain growth and deliver customer solutions. Please note that this position is scheduled to transfer to a local subsidiary of Thermo Fisher in your country. However, the position is in a country where the transfer of employees to Thermo Fisher is delayed until a later date. By joining Solventum during this transitional period, you will be able to work alongside an energized and mission-driven team who is experiencing this transition along with you. Until the transfer is complete, you will be employed by Solventum, and your employment is subject to all applicable terms and conditions as outlined in our employment agreement and company policies

The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

Supervise and manage all functions involved in the production of products in a safe and economic fashion. Responsible for direct supervision, training, safety performance, product quality, cost control, employee communications, employee morale and productivity.

· Assist in the warehouse startup plan, setting readiness milestones, owners, dependencies, and go-live criteria with the Site Leader and cross-functional partners.

· Coordinate facility and operational setup, including storage and slotting strategy, material flow, layout, racking, material-handling equipment, staging areas, and receiving and shipping processes.

· Partner with Facilities, Engineering, IT, Quality, EHS, Supply Chain, and Operations to resolve site-readiness gaps and align warehouse processes with business needs.

Daily warehouse operations

· Direct daily receiving, put-away, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping, returns, and related documentation to meet service, quality, and schedule requirements.

· Maintain inventory accuracy through transaction discipline, cycle counting, discrepancy investigation, and timely corrective action.

· Plan labor, equipment, and priorities to balance workload, respond to changes, and maintain dependable service to internal and external customers.

· 3PL providers are part of the operating model, assist in the coordination of onboarding and day-to-day interfaces, clarify service expectations, and monitor agreed performance measures.

· Build and lead a team of warehouse employees by coordinating staffing, onboarding, work assignments, schedules, and role-specific training.

· Set clear expectations and routines; coach employees, review performance, recognize contributions, address concerns, and support skill development.

· Promote a respectful, accountable team culture focused on safe work, quality, customer service, and cooperation across shifts and functions.

· Communicate priorities and operating results through regular team huddles, shift handoffs, and updates to site leadership.

Safety, quality, and compliance

· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse and ensure team members follow applicable site procedures, training requirements, and company policies.

· Support compliance with applicable quality-system, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements for the operation; escalate issues promptly and maintain accurate documentation.

· Lead or support incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions, then verify that actions are effective.

· Conduct routine workplace and process checks to identify hazards, quality risks, and control gaps before they affect employees, inventory, or customers.

· Establish practical measures for safety, service, inventory accuracy, productivity, quality, labor, and cost; review results with the team and site leadership.

· Use data, employee input, and root-cause methods to address missed targets and prevent recurring problems.

· Lead continuous-improvement work using lean principles and Thermo Fisher’s Practical Process Improvement approach, where applicable.

· Maintain operating plans and escalation paths that help the warehouse respond to staffing, equipment, system, supply, or transportation disruptions.

· Serve as the site point of contact for warehouse operations and keep partners informed about readiness, service, risks, and resource needs.

· Coordinate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, transportation, quality, customer service, and other teams to align priorities and resolve handoff issues.

· Provide clear recommendations to site leadership on staffing, process, equipment, capacity, and operational risks
