Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Your Profile & DNA:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Core HCM Developer to join our Workday Practice. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Workday Core HCM configuration, supporting the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Workday Human Capital Management solutions.

You will work closely with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to configure Workday Core HCM components, optimize business processes, maintain security, and deliver reporting solutions that support global HR operations.

Roles & Responsibilities

Workday Core HCM Configuration

• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM components, including:
• Organizations
• Supervisory Organizations
• Job Profiles
• Positions
• Staffing Models
• Organizational Hierarchies
• Configure and optimize Workday business processes for:
• Hiring
• Employee Transfers
• Promotions
• Terminations
• Organizational Changes
• Other employee lifecycle events
• Configure eligibility rules supporting compensation, benefits, and other HCM processes.
• Maintain organizational structures and reporting relationships.

Business Process Management

• Configure, maintain, and optimize Workday business process frameworks.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend Workday configuration improvements.
• Support HR process automation and workflow optimization.
• Ensure business processes comply with organizational policies and HR standards.

Security & Compliance

• Configure and maintain Workday security groups, roles, and domain security policies.
• Ensure appropriate access to sensitive employee and organizational data.
• Support compliance with organizational security policies and audit requirements.
• Perform security reviews and access validation.

System Maintenance & Support

• Maintain Workday Core HCM configuration during:
• Organizational restructuring
• Annual HR cycles
• System enhancements
• Business changes
• Perform regular system audits to ensure data quality and configuration accuracy.
• Troubleshoot issues related to:
• Business processes
• Security
• Data integrity
• Configuration
• Support system testing, validation, and production deployments.

Reporting & Analytics

• Develop and maintain custom reports using Workday Report Writer.
• Build dashboards to support HR operations and workforce analytics.
• Create reports for compliance, management, and operational decision-making.
• Support ad hoc reporting requests from business stakeholders.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Collaborate with HR, business users, and technical teams to gather requirements.
• Provide Workday configuration recommendations and best practices.
• Participate in Workday enhancement, implementation, and optimization projects.
• Prepare functional documentation and support knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Provide user support and guidance for Workday Core HCM functionality.

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience working with Workday Core HCM.
• Strong hands-on experience configuring Workday Core HCM.
• Solid understanding of: Organizational Structures, Supervisory Organizations, Job Profiles, Positions, Staffing Models, Business Process Frameworks
• Experience configuring Workday business processes.
• Strong knowledge of Workday security model, security groups, and domain security policies.
• Experience developing reports using Workday Report Writer.
• Strong understanding of HR business processes and employee lifecycle management.
• Experience troubleshooting Workday configuration and security issues.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
