We are looking for a talented Youth Program Guide to join our team! In this role, you’ll help create a fun, safe, and memorable experience for our young members as part of the Discovery Land journey. You’ll support daily program activities, assist the youth team where needed, and may occasionally take on additional tasks based on business needs. Above all, we’re looking for someone who brings passion, positive energy, and behaviors that reflect our company values.
What will you do?
- Welcome parents and children, creating a warm, safe, and engaging environment.
- Support daily Youth Program operations, including activity setup, supervision, cleanup, and closing duties.
- Help prepare weekly schedules, special events, and on‑site activities with the Youth Program team.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety, wellbeing, and enjoyment.
- Maintain clean, organized playrooms and Youth Program spaces.
- Follow all safety procedures, checklists, and child‑protection guidelines.
- Communicate concerns related to safety, behavior, or maintenance to supervisors.
- Assist with transportation using club vehicles (golf carts/vans) when licensed and authorized.
- Support Outdoor Pursuits tasks when needed, including greeting members and ensuring safety around pools, beach areas, and activities.
- Attend required meetings and training, and perform additional duties assigned by management.
Who are we looking for?
- At least 2 years of experience working with children (schools, kids’ clubs, childcare, camps, sports, or similar).
- Experience in luxury hospitality or resort environments is a plus.
- Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, and group management.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to safely operate club vehicles.
- First Aid certified (or willing to complete training).
- Confident swimmer; swimming instruction experience is an advantage.
- Energetic, creative, approachable, and comfortable engaging in active play.
- Strong judgment, calm under pressure, and reliable in emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact positively with multicultural families.
- Physically able to lift equipment, stand for long periods, and participate in outdoor and water‑based activities.
