Account & Event Operations Manager Remote · EST/PST Overlap | Full-Time | Travel Required | ASAP Start About Artist and the Machine Artist and the Machine (AATM) is a global summit platform at the intersection of AI and Creativity . We bring together leading brand executives, artists, technologists, and creative agencies through highly curated enterprise experiences designed to shape conversations and drive the industry forward. We're evolving from a series of standout events into a year-round media and community brand, expanding across flagship summits, intimate dinners, digital products, and new geographies. Our 2026 calendar includes flagship summits in New York and Los Angeles, activations at major industry conferences such as Cannes Lions and Adweek, our Global Dinner Series, and year-round media spanning newsletters, podcasts, social, editorial, and virtual programming. Past stages have featured artists including Grimes and leaders from Adobe, Bloomberg, NVIDIA, and Lionsgate. Our 2026 partners include Adobe, Amazon, ElevenLabs, Luma, LTX, Epidemic Sound, Replit, FLORA, OpenArt, frog, Bria, Lovable, and Bloomberg. We're a small, senior, founder-led team that moves quickly and gives high ownership to people who can operate independently. About the Role We're looking for an Account & Event Operations Manager to own the day-to-day success of our sponsor relationships and help deliver the events and experiences that define AATM. From the moment a partnership is signed through activation, on-site delivery, recap, and renewal, you'll be the person making sure commitments are delivered, relationships stay strong, and the right people are in the room. You'll manage a portfolio of approximately 10 sponsors at any given time , acting as their trusted day-to-day partner while coordinating internally across programming, production, marketing, and leadership. This role combines account management, event operations, project management, and community building . It's ideal for someone who is exceptionally organized, naturally relationship-driven, comfortable working with senior stakeholders, and genuinely interested in the intersection of AI, creativity, technology, art, and culture. You will report directly to the Founder & CEO and work closely with the Producer, Programming Lead, Marketing Lead, and Account Executives. What You'll Do Sponsor & Account Management Own a portfolio of approximately 10 sponsor accounts from signed agreement through activation, recap, and renewal. Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for sponsors, building trusted and long-term relationships. Manage sponsor calls, agendas, follow-ups, action items, and ongoing communication. Track every sponsor commitment and deliverable, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. Translate partner briefs and objectives into clear internal action plans. Coordinate with Production, Programming, Marketing, and Leadership to ensure sponsor expectations are met. Proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and keep projects moving. Build relationships across the sponsor organization, including brand teams, agencies, and senior leadership. Host and support partners at events, represent AATM professionally, and facilitate meaningful introductions. Turn successful activations into compelling recaps and identify opportunities for renewals, upsells, and deeper partnerships. Guest & Community Development Translate sponsor objectives into targeted guest lists and curated rooms. Research, prioritize, and recruit relevant senior leaders, creatives, artists, technologists, and decision-makers. Use your industry knowledge and network to identify high-value people beyond existing lists. Help grow and nurture AATM's year-round community of attendees, alumni, VIPs, speakers, and partners. Build relationships that extend beyond individual events and strengthen the AATM network over time. Event & Project Operations Support end-to-end execution across summits, dinners, and special activations. Take ownership of special projects that require strong organization, follow-through, and cross-functional coordination. Manage projects such as speaker onboarding, host committee coordination, partner activations, and guest logistics. Keep internal stakeholders aligned on timelines, responsibilities, risks, and next steps. Step into general operations and project management responsibilities as needed in a fast-moving, lean environment. What We're Looking For Experience Experience in events, conferences, agencies, media, experiential marketing, or a related environment . Experience managing client, sponsor, partner, or account relationships. Experience coordinating events, conferences, summits, activations, or other complex projects. Strong project management skills and a track record of managing multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience working with senior executives, VIPs, speakers, brands, or other high-profile stakeholders is strongly preferred. Industry Knowledge You have a genuine understanding of the world AATM operates in. You follow AI, creativity, art, design, entertainment, technology, and culture and can speak intelligently about what's happening across these industries. You understand which companies and people matter, which roles influence budgets and decisions, and who is genuinely relevant to a particular conversation. Given a list of hundreds of potential guests and a specific brief, you can quickly identify the people who belong in the room — and explain why. How You Work Exceptionally organized: You track details, deadlines, commitments, and follow-ups without needing to be reminded. Proactive: You identify issues before they become problems and communicate status without being asked. Solutions-oriented: You bring answers and recommendations rather than simply escalating problems. Relationship-driven: You build genuine rapport and naturally maintain relationships over time. Strong communicator: You're comfortable running calls, communicating with senior stakeholders, and representing the company externally. Discreet and composed: You can navigate VIPs, executives, partners, and high-pressure situations with professionalism. Highly accountable: When something is yours, you own it from beginning to end. Adaptable: You're comfortable wearing multiple hats and jumping between account management, event operations, research, and special projects. Startup-minded: You thrive in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change and there isn't always a playbook. AI-fluent: You're comfortable using basic AI tools to research, organize information, and work efficiently. You don't need to be an AI expert or engineer. What Success Looks Like In this role, success means: Sponsors feel exceptionally well taken care of and see you as a trusted partner. Every partner commitment is tracked, communicated, and delivered. Events run smoothly because you've anticipated problems before they happen. The right people are consistently in the room. Sponsors, speakers, and VIPs leave feeling that AATM is uniquely thoughtful and well connected. Relationships continue to grow between events, not just during them. Your work helps turn great event execution into stronger partnerships, renewals, and growth. Growth Opportunity This is designed as a long-term role with significant room to grow. You'll initially focus on sponsor success, event operations, and community development. As AATM scales and you prove yourself, the role can expand into broader operations, partnership leadership, and strategic cross-functional initiatives. We're looking for someone who wants to build alongside the company , take on increasing ownership, and help shape what Artist and the Machine becomes next.
