About Thesis

Thesis is an independent agency working at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and technology. We partner with ambitious brands to solve complex business and marketing challenges and create ideas, experiences, and systems built to scale. We're evolving how we work to bring thinking and making closer together, build more accountable teams, and use technology and AI to expand what's creatively possible.

Role Overview

As an Account Manager at Thesis, you are a growth driver, relationship builder, and project leader who helps move the agency's new business and go-to-market efforts forward. Working across business development, client relationships, strategy, creative, and operations, you manage opportunities from the initial conversation through pitch development, client engagement, and successful launch. You bring both strategic thinking and strong execution, thrive in the pursuit of new business, and know how to bring structure and clarity to complex, fast-moving opportunities.

You'll lead the day-to-day coordination of high-stakes pitches, RFPs, and capabilities presentations while helping develop the systems, outbound programs, and operational tools that support a consistent pipeline of new opportunities. You're a natural connector and proactive problem solver who anticipates needs, keeps cross-functional teams aligned, and ensures the details never get lost in the bigger picture. You take pride in the quality of the work and make sure every client interaction reflects the standard Thesis is known for.

Above all, you're motivated by results, energized by collaboration, and genuinely love the pursuit of winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

Pursuit Ownership & Pitch Delivery

  • Manage new business opportunities from initial qualification through pitch development, proposal submission, contract execution, and engagement kickoff.

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of pitches, RFPs, capabilities presentations, and other high-stakes business development initiatives.

  • Build and manage pursuit timelines, deliverables, budgets, resources, and responsibilities, keeping teams aligned and accountable.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across strategy, creative, technology, analytics, production, and agency leadership.

  • Anticipate risks, remove roadblocks, manage dependencies, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

  • Maintain exceptional standards for every client-facing deliverable, ensuring our work is polished, compelling, accurate, and delivered on time.

  • Support opportunity scoping, proposal development, pricing coordination, and statements of work to ensure continuity between what we sell and what we deliver.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Growth Operations

  • Support the planning and execution of Thesis's go-to-market strategy across inbound, outbound, referrals, partnerships, and marketing.

  • Coordinate prospecting campaigns, targeted outreach, relationship development, and follow-up activities.

  • Research target accounts, industries, market developments, conferences, awards, and business opportunities.

  • Help manage agency participation in industry events, networking opportunities, partnerships, and thought leadership initiatives.

  • Support the development and curation of credentials, case studies, marketing materials, and other business development assets.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, opportunity documentation, and reporting.

  • Help establish repeatable systems, processes, and tools that make our growth efforts more effective and scalable.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Serve as a confident, professional point of contact for prospective clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.

  • Coordinate discovery sessions, client meetings, workshops, pitch presentations, and follow-up communications.

  • Develop a strong understanding of each prospective client's business, challenges, objectives, and decision-making process.

  • Help ensure every interaction with Thesis feels thoughtful, organized, responsive, and genuinely collaborative.

  • Partner with agency leadership to maintain momentum across opportunities and keep next steps moving forward.

  • Build trusted relationships across the agency, bringing people together to do their best work.

Operational Rigor & Team Builder

  • Bring structure to ambiguity and turn ambitious ideas into actionable plans.

  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, eliminate inefficiencies, and strengthen how we operate.

  • Balance multiple fast-moving priorities without sacrificing quality, attention to detail, or team morale.

  • Bring solutions, not just problems, to challenges and opportunities alike.

  • Contribute to a team culture built on curiosity, accountability, collaboration, optimism, and shared ambition.

Who You Are

  • An experienced account management or business development professional with 3–6 years of experience in account management, integrated production, project management, business development operations, or a related role, preferably in a creative, digital, or marketing agency.

  • A proven project leader with experience managing complex, multidisciplinary projects with multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and ambitious deadlines.

  • A strong understanding of how creative agencies work, including strategy, creative development, digital marketing, production, and client services.

  • An exceptional organizer with sharp attention to detail and the proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • An outstanding written and verbal communicator with confidence engaging internal teams, clients, and senior agency leadership.

  • Experienced in coordinating pitches, proposals, RFPs, scopes of work, or other high-stakes business development initiatives.

  • Comfortable and proficient working with CRM platforms, project management tools, presentations, spreadsheets, and collaborative workflows.
