Account Manager – Communications Agency

York | £30,000–£35,000

We’re working with a fantastic communications agency in York who are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join their client services team.

It’s a really varied role, working with clients across a range of sectors and delivering multi-channel communications including events, social, design/literature, CRM and email marketing.

You’ll be the day-to-day contact for your clients, getting to know their businesses, understanding what they need and working with the wider agency team to bring projects and campaigns to life.

The role

You’ll be:

• Managing a range of client relationships and becoming a trusted day-to-day contact
• Taking briefs and managing projects from initial idea through to delivery
• Coordinating internal teams and keeping projects, timings and budgets on track
• Keeping clients informed and making sure everything runs smoothly
• Identifying opportunities to develop relationships and grow accounts

About you

You’ll ideally have agency-side client services experience, either as an Account Manager or as an experienced Account Executive ready for your next step.

You’ll be a natural communicator who enjoys building client relationships, with the organisation and attention to detail needed to keep multiple projects moving at once.

You don’t need experience across every channel – what’s more important is that you’re comfortable working in an agency environment, can build great client relationships and enjoy plenty of variety in your work.

Whilst the team are primarily office-based you will get the opportunity to work from home one day per week.
