Account Receivable (AR)

Role Description This part-time, remote Accounts Receivable (AR) role with Uhane Team - Wiser Sales Platform focuses on managing customer billing and collections to support accurate and timely cash flow. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and issuing invoices, monitoring outstanding balances, and following up on overdue accounts through professional, solution-focused communication. The role involves recording payments, reconciling accounts, and maintaining up-to-date AR records in relevant finance or CRM systems. The AR specialist will collaborate with sales and finance teams to resolve billing discrepancies, clarify payment terms, and improve AR processes while adhering to company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret AR data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies effectively.
• Foundational knowledge of finance and accounting principles relevant to invoicing, payment application, and cash flow management.
• Clear and professional communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams, including written and verbal correspondence.
• Experience in debt collection activities, including courteous follow-up, negotiation of payment arrangements, and documentation of collection efforts.
• Proficiency with invoicing processes and tools, including generating, reviewing, and tracking invoices in digital systems.
• Comfort working remotely, with strong time management, organization, and attention to detail in a part-time environment.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and AR or accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ERP systems, or CRM platforms) is highly beneficial.
• Prior experience in accounts receivable, finance, or a related administrative role is preferred; relevant coursework or certification in accounting or finance is an advantage.
