Accountant (Hybrid Setup) | AU Healthcare
StaffstreamWe're looking for an experienced Accountant to join the Finance team of a growing Australian organisation in the allied health and healthcare sector.
This is a hands-on accounting role supporting entities across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and other international markets as the organisation expands. You'll contribute to month-end close, management reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, payroll accounting and budgeting while helping maintain accurate financial information across the business.
The role suits an Accountant who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working across multiple entities and financial systems.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Support accounting activities across Australian and international entities.
- Prepare month-end journals, adjustments and financial reports.
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Contribute to monthly financial and management reporting.
- Investigate irregularities and unexpected movements in management accounts.
- Support budgeting and forecasting alongside the wider Finance team.
- Assist with payroll accounting, including payroll reconciliations, leave provisions and accruals.
- Support payment administration and other day-to-day finance activities as required.
- Prepare ad hoc and statistical reports.
- Contribute to finance projects and additional responsibilities as the organisation continues to grow.
What We're Looking For - You're the Perfect Fit if You:
Non-Negotiable Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or CPA qualification.
- Previous professional experience working as an Accountant.
- Hands-on Xero experience.
- Strong experience with month-end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial systems and accounting processes.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Proactive approach to investigating and resolving discrepancies.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

- Experience supporting Australian, New Zealand, UK or other international entities.
- Experience working within a multi-entity finance environment.
- Exposure to payroll processing and payroll reconciliations.
- Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting.
- Experience preparing management reports and investigating account variances.
- Healthcare, allied health or professional services industry exposure.
Work Schedule & Employment Terms
Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT
- Remote work setup
- Must be willing to report onsite in BGC, Taguig once per month
- Philippine-based employment only
