Accounting Senior

Accounting Senior Boutique business advisory firm based in Malta urgently needs an Accounting Senior to join their team and help support and mentor the more junior team members. Salary up to €36k depending on experience Role & Responsibilities Liaising with clients and handling various requests in a timely manner Provide supervision and coaching of junior accountants, including review of their deliverables Planning deliverables of client portfolio, can work on own initiative, prioritize own work and meet deadlines Report to management with portfolio updates and assist in monitoring team economics Preparation of accountancy files for audit and liaising with client auditors Preparation of management accounts in accordance with relevant accounting frameworks Assistance with presenting management accounts to clients Preparation and submission of clients’ VAT Returns and Recap Declarations Skills & Experience Candidates must be a qualified accountant Experience working as an accountant in Malta Familiarity with payroll processes will be considered an asset Foundational knowledge of VAT regulations is required Applicants must have an excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal) *JobMatchingPartner Limited is a recruitment agency licenced in Malta, EU with licence no EA00340-2024.
