Acquisitions Specialist – Remote Insurance Sales

John Costa State Farm is seeking an experienced Acquisitions Specialist to help drive new business and expand the agency’s customer base.

This is a sales-dominant remote position for someone who knows the State Farm environment, understands the pace of agency sales, and is comfortable consistently prospecting, following up, overcoming objections, and closing business.

We are looking for a motivated producer who can work independently, manage a strong pipeline, and stay focused on results in a remote setting.

Spanish or Portuguese fluency is preferred, but not required.

What You’ll Focus On

Your primary responsibility will be bringing new customers into the agency and converting opportunities into written business.

You will:

Prospect and generate new business through outbound activity, leads, referrals, and networking
Follow up consistently with new and existing opportunities
Conduct needs-based sales conversations
Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, life, and other insurance products
Cross-sell additional coverage when appropriate
Overcome objections and confidently ask for the business
Maintain an organized sales pipeline and track follow-up activity
Work toward individual and agency production goals

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 1 year of State Farm agency experience required
Prior insurance sales experience required
Active Property & Casualty and Life insurance licenses required
Proven ability to generate, manage, and close sales opportunities
Strong phone, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable with outbound prospecting and persistent follow-up
Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment
Organized, accountable, and driven by measurable results
Spanish or Portuguese fluency preferred, but not required

Licensing Requirement

Candidates must already hold active Property & Casualty and Life insurance licenses prior to employment. This position is intended for experienced, licensed State Farm professionals who can transition quickly into production.

Compensation: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
