Join a full-service primary care clinic in Koreatown, Los Angeles as an NP or PA and care for a mostly Korean-American community in Korean and English. This is a high-autonomy role: you’ll be the clinic’s main provider most days, with a physician on site two days a week and reachable by phone or in person the rest of the time. You’ll have a manager, receptionist, and MA/RN on site. The work combines family and internal medicine with pain management and targeted therapies like shockwave and neuropathy treatment. The physician trains you on injections and procedures, so you don’t need them on day one. You’ll see about 18 to 20 patients a day, Monday through Friday. The practice covers your license renewals, DEA, and certifications, and wants someone looking for a long-term home who treats patients like family.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary provider, with the physician on site two days a week
- Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and chronic disease management, and coordinate specialty referrals
- Evaluate and treat low back, joint, musculoskeletal, work and sports injury, and chronic pain, in collaboration with the physician
- Perform injections, in-clinic procedures, and therapies such as shockwave after training
- Conduct annual wellness exams, pre-employment physicals, and chronic condition evaluations
- See about 18 to 20 patients per day, communicating in Korean and English
- Keep documentation accurate and on time
Qualifications
- Active California FNP or PA license
- Fluent in Korean (advanced or native) and English
- At least 1 year of experience as an NP or PA
- Willing to learn and perform injections and in-clinic procedures
- Current BLS and ACLS (reimbursed by the practice)
- Active DEA strongly preferred
Schedule & Compensation
- $120,000 starting salary, up to $160,000 based on experience
- Full-time | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 30-minute or flexible lunch
- About 18–20 patients per day
- Health insurance | Malpractice covered
- 2 weeks PTO
- CME: one week off plus a $1,500–$2,500 stipend, based on experience
- License renewals, DEA, and certifications reimbursed
