Advanced Manufacturing Technology Manager

Role Description The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Manager is a part-time, remote role focused on leading technology-driven improvements in manufacturing processes. This role involves overseeing the transfer of new technologies into existing manufacturing environments, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth implementation, and optimizing operations for quality, safety, and efficiency. The manager will collaborate with engineering and operations teams to design and refine processes, identify areas for continuous improvement, and manage projects from concept through execution. Responsibilities include setting technology adoption plans, monitoring performance metrics, preparing documentation, and communicating progress and risks to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Technology Transfer and experience implementing new technologies into production environments.
• Candidates should possess practical expertise in Manufacturing Operations and Manufacturing Engineering to support efficient and reliable production processes.
• Candidates should possess solid Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and deliver manufacturing technology initiatives on time and within scope.
• Candidates should possess Process Engineering skills to analyze, design, and optimize manufacturing workflows and systems.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related engineering field are preferred.
• Experience with advanced manufacturing systems (e.g., automation, robotics, digital manufacturing) and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is highly beneficial.
• Strong analytical abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in remote, cross-functional teams are essential.
