The short version

Plenty of companies are still running AI pilots. We moved past that a while ago: AI agents and human experts create, localise, check and refresh content for global B2B brands every day, across markets and languages. The next question is a harder one: not how to make content, but which content a client should make at all. That's where you come in.

As an AI Builder, you work on both sides of that. About half your time goes to bringing new clients live. The rest goes to building the intelligence that tells each client what to make next: where competitors outrank them, which pages are losing ground and need a refresh, which topics are an opening nobody has claimed yet, and whether they show up when people ask ChatGPT or Google instead of searching.

We've built our own CRM; our teams work with agents that do everything from setting up a tailor-made demo for a prospect to preparing sales calls and routing client feedback to the right person, and people across the company build their own tools. If you want to do serious work with AI, this is a good place for it. Everyone here is already building.

What Contentoo does

Most content tools make the client the editor. Most agencies make them the project manager. We'd rather make them the approver: they brief, review, and approve, and we run everything in between, inside their own workflow and tools. That makes us a product with a large service layer, sitting where SaaS, service and AI overlap.

None of that works without good foundations, so that's where we start. Before any agent runs, we capture what makes a client's content theirs: strategy, tone, terminology, compliance rules and hero pieces, per language and market, confirmed by the client. Every agent, expert and signal draws on that brand context. Skip it, and you get generic content, faster.

There's no shortage of software that tells a client what to write. The difference is that we get those foundations right first and then actually do the work. We've been doing that for ten years: 300+ brands, 300,000+ completed projects and 49 languages.

What you'll do

A suite of Workflows already runs in production, from localisation and creation to brand checks and content refresh. Each one combines AI agents with human experts and works from the client's brand context.

In practice, your week splits two ways. Half of it is implementation: getting new clients live, finding out where their situation is different from the last client's, and building the fix quickly, whether that's a new skill for their agent, a connection to their CMS, or a check only their market needs. Then you make that whole process faster and more automated on our side, so the next client goes live with less hand work.

The other half is the layer on top, which we're building right now: brand intelligence. Today most marketing teams guess what to write next. We want every client to know. Their own search data shows which pages are slipping, and a page that slips already gets a one-click refresh. Competitor rankings show where others win the topics the client should own. Strategy gets drafted from search data in each market and confirmed by the client, so every piece has a reason to exist. And every week we ask ChatGPT, Gemini, and Google's AI to answer the questions their buyers ask, to see whether the client is named or a competitor is. Every expert fix and every client comment flows back into the brand context, so the platform gets better with each piece.

What works for one client becomes a feature for all of them. And our own teams are clients too. Sales asks the CRM and the agents for a prospect's history before a call. Anyone in the company can ask Conny, our assistant on top of KIWI, our company knowledge base, how billing works or what a package includes. Product feedback from clients gets sorted and routed to the right owner by an agent. When one of those tools needs to get better, you build that too, with Claude Code, the Claude and GPT APIs, MCP servers and agent skills: whatever does the job.

The team

You join the Product team under Olivier (CPO) and report to Joost (AI Lead), in our growing AI team. You'll work closely with Jorge (Product Lead), Cesar (Tech Lead) and our development hub in Valencia.

Around you are the Connies: our people in Amsterdam and in our growing Valencia office. Once a month we stop for Success & Drinks, a company update with no slides and lots of energy, where anyone can take the floor to show what they've built. Wins get celebrated in #shoutout, from a sales call that nailed it to the talent team finding the right experts for a client's healthcare content. We play a padel tournament every year, run the city business run together (the ones who don't run come for the drinks afterwards), and take honest feedback seriously enough to train for it.

Who you are

You're a builder who gets energy from seeing a client actually use what you made. Three things come together in you:

Judgement. You quickly see what's really going on with a client, and you're as credible talking ROI with a CFO as architecture with an engineer.

You build. You prototype fast and ship, and you're at home with LLM APIs, agents, MCP, skills, and tools like Claude Code. You've built AI tools that real people use, and you can tell us what happened after launch.

Hands in the mud. You love being close to clients: fixing what gets in their way, building what solves their next problem, and owning what you ship. Under the hood, it has to work, stay up, and be safe. Your best hours go to the client.

You might come from strategy, product, solutions engineering, or technical implementation. Or you became the AI person at your last company and want a lot more of it. Fluent English is a must, Dutch a plus.

If seeing a client use something you built last week excites you more than perfecting the architecture behind it, you'll love it here. You'd be building on a business that's doing very well, with a large network of expert freelancers behind it: clients, data and experts from day one, and an operation that keeps running while we scale. If you'd rather start from a blank page, a startup will suit you better. But if you want to make AI fly at scale, this is the place.

What you’ll get

  • A competitive salary based on experience

  • 25 vacation days per year

  • Pension contribution

  • Hybrid work environment (great office at the Houthavens, 3 days in office, plus remote flexibility)

  • A small AI team with a mandate to grow: real leadership opportunities, an L&D budget and direct exposure to the MT and founders

  • Laptop of choice (Mac or HP)

  • A monthly Alleo budget

  • A learning budget

  • Lunch and a bar in the office. Who doesn’t want a bar in their office?!

  • A fun, inclusive team, regular company events, boat days, and more

Why Contentoo, why now

  • You'll build things people keep using. In client conversations, in the code and in the product, every week.

  • The foundations are already there. 300+ clients, real integrations, structured brand context, Workflows in production, and real budget committed to AI. You build on top, not from zero.

  • The market is wide open. Most enterprises are stuck somewhere between "we bought ChatGPT licences" and "our content still isn't better". We're building the bridge, and there's no playbook for it yet.

  • What you build compounds. A win for one client becomes a feature for all of them.

Sounds interesting?
