AI Coordinator at a global industrial company!

Our client is a global industrial company operating in many countries. Within the marine area, a team works with connected equipment, data and AI. The goal is to offer customers great services based on connected data.

The team has now been given an extended responsibility for AI. They have a long list of ideas for apps and functions that will support different parts of the organisation. A first solution is already in operation. They are now looking for an AI Coordinator who wants to drive the next step.

About the role

You will be the one who turns ideas into reality. Three initiatives have already been prioritised and more are lined up. You will work closely with the business and coordinate the work with external specialists.

The role is as much about people as it is about technology. You won’t settle for asking departments what they want. You will take an active role and create engagement for new ways of working.

You may also take responsibility for one of the company’s products used on ships. There, you will drive the product’s development towards connected services together with the product owners.

Examples of responsibilities

• Coordinate projects, initiatives and improvement activities

• Help turn ideas into clear plans, actions and next steps

• Bring the right people together across the organisation

• Follow up tasks, decisions, deadlines and dependencies

• Prepare meetings, workshops, presentations and other material

• Help develop business cases and cost-benefit assessments

• Support testing, implementation and follow-up of new tools and ways of working

• Help collect user needs, feedback and improvement ideas

• Maintain an overview of activities, priorities and progress

• Build networks and create collaboration across teams

• Communicate opportunities, progress and results

• Help people understand how AI, data and digital tools can support their work

• Contribute to identifying and developing relevant AI and data-driven use cases

The team and ways of working

You will join a team that works with connecting the company’s products. The team has competence in areas such as data science, support and technical project management. Roles are not strictly divided. People help each other and the team will be a support for you. The area is relatively new and there is plenty of room to make an impact.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is curious, communicative and organised. You enjoy networking and building relationships. You can engage people without formal authority. You understand how AI can be used to solve different problems. You genuinely enjoy digging into AI and exploring what it can do.

You probably have:

• A few years of experience driving or coordinating initiatives

• A technical background, for example in IT or automation

• An understanding of the opportunities and limitations of AI

• Good command of English, spoken and written

It is a plus if you have:

• Experience of digital projects, AI or data

• Experience of business improvement or cross-functional coordination

• Good at networking and engaging others

Practical information

• Location: Stockholm, hybrid with three days on site (Tuesday–Thursday)

• Extent: Full-time

• Employment: You will initially be employed by A-hub and work on assignment at the client. The goal is for you to then move on to an employment directly with the client.
