About the Position
As an AI & Data Analytics Engineer, you will work with technical data from our manufacturing processes, product and process development, and technical documentation. A key part of the role is understanding how data flows through our production environments, how it can be structured and analyzed, and how it can be used to create value for the organization.
You will work with everything from data flows and pre-processing to analysis and visualization of production data. The role also includes exploring how advanced analytics, Machine Learning and AI can be applied to our processes and technical information.
You will work closely with our production systems and data infrastructure, where Python, databases, data workflows and DCS data are important components. Experience of ABB 800xA is particularly valuable.
As AI becomes an increasingly important part of our technical landscape, you will also contribute to developing and evaluating solutions based on Machine Learning and LLM-based AI. Cybersecurity and secure data handling are natural considerations throughout this work.

- Work with industrial process and DCS data, including ABB 800xA.
- Explore and develop solutions using Machine Learning, advanced analytics and LLM-based AI.
- Design and evaluate data and AI workflows, including feasibility studies for new technical solutions.
- Ensure cybersecurity aspects are considered in data and AI solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures and models to support system users.
Your profile
- A Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or another relevant technical field
- Experience with Python and data analysis
- Knowledge of databases and data workflows
- Experience with data processing and visualization
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Experience or knowledge within the following areas is considered meritorious:
- DCS environments, particularly ABB 800xA
- Machine Learning and advanced data analytics
- Generative AI and LLM-based solutions
- Cybersecurity in data or industrial environments
- Working in Linux environments
Who are you?
To thrive in this position, we believe you are analytical, curious and solution-oriented. You enjoy working with complex technical challenges and are comfortable moving between detailed data analysis and a broader understanding of systems and processes.
You have an interest in new technologies and enjoy turning ideas and possibilities into practical solutions. As the role involves collaboration with technical specialists and users across the organization, you are communicative and able to explain complex technical topics in a clear and accessible way.
Sounds interesting? Please submit your application before the deadline on December 4th. The position might be filled before the application deadline.
